A one-person, comic-loving bookshop based in Prairie Village, Kansas

Hey, I'm Shawn. I started Mister Comic to scratch a very specific itch: I wanted a place where people could easily buy great superhero comics without dealing with soulless algorithms, dusty longboxes, or giant online marketplaces that treat books like bulk commodities.

I handpick everything in the store...mostly Marvel and DC trade paperbacks and hardcovers, with a few choice indie titles that I love. Whether you’re catching up on Batman after 20 years away or trying to find a great first graphic novel to experience, I promise you'll only find the good stuff on these here shelves.

Right now, I don't have a proper local storefront (I call it "owning an invisible bookstore"). But if we can get enough momentum going, that's the plan. Till then, it's just me running everything behind the scenes and delivering books around Prairie Village and Overland Park like some kind of comic book milkman.
